Everything we do at Big Spoon – every decision, big or small – is filtered through our four core values. Even though you are one person joining a large team, EVERY team member plays an important role. We believe that if every team member can embody our core values, we can make someone's life better – through excellent products, elite level customer service, and being an awesome teammate!
1. PEOPLE FIRST
Putting people first doesn't only apply to customer service, it actually starts internally. As a company, we do all we can to make sure our team is well taken care of. We also expect our team members to look out for one another and put each other first. When we all put others first and take care of each other, then we'll be ready to take care of guests in the best way possible.
We put guests first by giving them an excellent experience – authentically caring for and connecting with them, going above and beyond for them, and actively looking for ways to serve them.
2. INTEGRITY
Without integrity, nothing we put our hands on has any credibility or value. Integrity is what you do when no one is looking. Integrity is being honest and transparent in everything we do. It means doing the right thing, even when it’s inconvenient, even when nobody is going to find out.

Mediocrity never made an impact on someone’s life. For us to positively influence those around us, we must have excellent standards. We include the word "commitment” very intentionally. We are a company full of humans, which means we will make mistakes. We do not expect perfection, but we do expect your best.
We expect you to be committed to excellence in the way you dress and take care of your uniform, the way you interact with guests, how you scoop ice cream, how you make ice cream, bake, and cut cookies – EVERYTHING. We don't cut corners here. We're committed to excellence even when it's inconvenient, even when we think it won't matter. Everything we do should exude excellence, and that is the standard to which you'll be held accountable!
